Is it just me or are we living in an alternate universe? Men are women and women are men. Men are bullied into being effeminate, while us women are bullied into sexualizing ourselves as a form of ''freedom''. I bought into this thought process and lifestyle for a long time. I was exposed to porn at young age, and it definitely warped my sense of sex and relationships. Also having a absent father didn't help either.
With the rise of feminism came more fatherless homes. This trend that is just fueling this fire of bitterness between men and women. Making us resent one another, when God created us in His image and for different purposes. It isn't a bad thing that men and women are different. God made us with special abilities that are unique to each gender.
There is a reason men are naturally stronger physically than women and women are more emotional than men. Now of course there are exceptions as God is always surprising us in His Goodness. But other than that men and women are a lot alike and that is for a reason. There is a reason men gather around other men and women around other women. We have certain things within our gender that make us so alike.
Most men love sports, cars, and having a good ole smoke. Most women love talking with friends, shopping, and watching true crime TV. Our brains are wired differently on purpose by God. We are here to nurture and create our families in the way that God designed. And that means living in our God-given womanhood. And it is not found in the popular modern woman.
The popular modern woman is sexual, tough, and can do anything a man can do. They push that we should be so strong that we ''don't need a man'' for anything and if we do then we need to not be clingy, allow him to watch porn to ''satisfy their sexual needs'', and suppress all of our feminine desires. We are expected to be a ''bro'', but with girly parts.
But there are some of us that refuse to follow this way of life. We refuse to be rough, tough, or to sexualize ourselves. We are bringing back dresses, being soft as a opposed to strong, and waiting for marriage before we engage in intercourse. Now, modern society would call us crazy or ''pick-me's'' , but I call us women that are getting our Godly femininity back. I am tired of the idea that a woman can do everything a man can do. We can't and that is something to proud of.
We are bringing back the fact that women are special in our right. We like being well groomed and living as the way God has made us to be. I like seeing more young girls waiting for marriage, wanting to be with a masculine man, a Godly man. The younger generation is tried of loveless situationships. Tired of being told the only way that can valued is by showing off their bodies. Tired of being told that that old-fashioned love and femininity is long gone. It is not gone and we are the witnesses and influencers to prove it. But what are your thoughts?
What do you think about the modern women and all that she is suppose to be? Do you believe we can have feminism and have some traditional values? Or should be just go back to traditional values all together? I am of the opinion that we should just crush modern feminism and bring back old traditional values of man, woman, and God.
